Curriculum Development The UNO Maverick Space Shuttle Simulation Laboratory brings students (grades 5-8) to campus for technology intensive, curriculum experiences in the areas of mathematics, science, reading, writing, and aerospace, performed in an environment of a simulated mission of the NASA Space Shuttle. CASDE promotes the use of space-derived, remotely-sensed data and information. Focused on K-12 education, CASDE has accepted the challenge to make such data easily and intuitively available to teachers. The core concept for CASDE educational resources is Curriculum Building Blocks.
