The overall reaction to the workshop was positive with 93% of participants rating it above average. All of the participants felt that the ideas were useful on the job, to some extent, with 73% giving a rating of superior or good. The participants felt that the biggest strength of the workshop was the multicultural value of the lesson and the access to resources to continue to teach the concepts they learned. Participants were impressed with the dance instructor and the enthusiasm with which the lesson was presented. The participants enjoyed the contrast of the dance and technology aspects of the workshop also finding the PlanIt teacher and practical knowledge and instruction in technology a strength of the workshop. Participants felt the biggest weakness of the workshop was the lack of time. They would have liked to have more time brainstorming and becoming more comfortable with the material. Suggestions for further workshops include more multicultural lessons, access to museum archives, video making , and technology applications such as hyperstudio, web site lesson plans and music. Participants were very appreciative of the experience and were looking forward to taking what they learned back to their schools.
