WebQuest: Web Resources:
Clear evaluation criteria will help your students improve their projects. They will know what is expected of them. This week you will focus on the evaluation section of your WebQuest. Your goal is to develop the evaluation checklist rubric you will use to evaluate your student's work. Also this week you will explore some of the design issues regarding web pages.
Here are some sample WebQuests along with links to their evaluation sections. Keep in mind, the more detail you can provide in the evaluation rubric, the more useful it will be, to you, to the student, and to other teachers that may use your WebQuest.
Here are some WebQuest sites that you may find useful. You have looked at some of these sites in previous lessons, but this time focus on evaluation.
Your main focus is to complete the WebQuest project. If you are new to web page construction, it may be enough just to get the basic WebQuest template filled out with a minimum number of graphics only where absolutely needed. By all means, concentrate on getting the ideas onto the web page first!
