Open the Application Called 'SnagIt'.
The 'Control Panel' opens.
The 'Panel' is set for 'image capture', input comes from a 'window', no filters, the output is a 'GIF' file and we have a 'Preview' option. Changes are made with the menu bar buttons.
To 'capture', press <Control> <Shift> <P>. Move the mouse to choose the selection window and give the selection a mouse click. You are in 'Preview' mode. If you want to capture a different window, click on it and a color will appear around that window!
When your image is being previewed, you may edit it, crop, save.......
To save, 'File/Save As:', choose to save in: (location in 'C' drive, for example) and give it a file name.
The 'Help' menu button will call up the 'Capture Wizard'.
The 'Wizard' is a tutorial which will provide additional capture information.
